The Enistic Energy Audit Kit is a comprehensive starter kit that allows an organisation to measure its electricity usage in detail, making it quick and easy to identify areas where savings can be made.

The kit will collect data every ten seconds and give an accurate break-down of energy consumption - for example, by device, employee, department or building. Energy consumption data can be seen at a glance on the screen of the Smart Energy Controller. The Energy Manager Pro reporting system enables the user to analyse their energy data, and see the breakdown of where that energy is being used in a series of graphs.

The Energy Audit Kit can be used to measure circuits, to monitor the energy usage of lighting, air-conditioning/heating or servers, and also to track the energy consumption of individual appliances, workstations or areas of a site.

The Energy Audit Kit is suitable for use with all office-based IT equipment, such as desk-based PC systems, photocopiers, vending machines, printers, audio or visual equipment, televisions, plasma screens and servers. With this level of flexibility, you are able to start measuring how much individual pieces of equipment cost to run and begin the process of identifying the energy hogs within your organisation. This information can be used to encourage behavioural change and, over time, to replace certain devices with more energy-efficient equipment.

As soon as the Smart Energy Controller is turned on, it will automatically search for Enistic devices to supply it with data. When a new device is added, such as an additional Smart Socket or Channel Meter, it will automatically be detected. Similarly, when you install the Energy Manager Pro software, you only need to type in the registration number from one piece of equipment in the starter kit - the others will all then be automatically detected.
